Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, Nasrene is determined to push boundaries with her music and become one of the very few female pop artists of South African South Asian descent. Nasrene has a background in Health Care and it is in her nature to want to help people and make them feel good. This is carried through in her emotion-driven music.

In 2019, Nasrene became more focused on exploring her artistry and finding her voice. She was involved in many songwriting sessions in South Africa and Europe alongside global acts from The Voice, Eurovision as well as American Idol. She signed a global recording deal with world-renowned independent record label David Gresham Records and has since worked with artists from around the world, including songwriters and producers from BMG Benelux, Cloud 9 Music as well as Armin van Buuren’s Armada Music. In March 2020 Nasrene released her debut EP “Girl with Feelings”.
In October 2020, Nasrene released her single “Parties in the Park” through BMG Benelux in Europe and
the rest of the world and with David Gresham Records in Africa.

Nasrene is currently working on new music for release in 2021.
